When can I shop in person? 

(Add specific shopping hours/days for families once confirmed — e.g., before/after school, or a designated family night) 

How does online ordering work?

Can't make it to campus? Shop the same fair online through Scholastic's Online Book Fair. Online orders ship directly to your home, and a portion of every purchase — in person or online — supports Wortham's classrooms and library.

What is the eWallet?

eWallet is Scholastic's cashless way for students to shop at the Book Fair on their own — no cash to lose or forget, and no waiting for a parent to come shop with them.

How it works:

1. Starting about three weeks before the Fair, go to our school's Book Fair homepage and set up an eWallet for your student (you'll need a free Scholastic account).

2. Add funds with a credit or debit card — a minimum of $1 to get started, and you can add more at any time, even during the Fair.

3. Funds are available immediately and are pre-loaded at the register under your student's name, so checkout is quick — no cash or card needed in their backpack.

4. Grandparents, aunts, uncles, and family friends can also contribute directly to your student's eWallet if you share the link with them.

What happens to leftover funds? 

Nothing is lost if your student doesn't spend it all. Remaining balance can be:

• Saved for a future Book Fair (the eWallet carries over year to year)

• Transferred to a sibling's eWallet

• Turned into a Scholastic eGift Card for online shopping

• Donated to the school's Share the Fair fund to help other students get books

You'll get an email after the Fair with your remaining balance either way.

• Set up eWallet early — it's available about 3 weeks before the Fair opens, so there's no need to wait until the first day to fund your student's account.

• Set a spending limit with your student ahead of time so there's no surprise when they come home with a stack of books — eWallet makes it easy to spend, which is great for independence but worth a quick conversation first.

• Skip sending cash if your student has an eWallet — it's one less thing that can get lost or left at home.

• Check in near the last day if your student still has an unspent balance — teachers often remind kids to use it before the Fair ends, but a reminder at home doesn't hurt.

• Contributing family members don't need to attend — if grandparents or relatives want to pitch in, share the eWallet link and they can add funds from anywhere.
